Dua Lipa to Perform at 2023 ODI World Cup

Sports fans will be happy to hear that the organizers of the Cricket World Cup 2023 have ensured that there will be ample celebrity presence to kick off the final match. Famous and Rising Singer Dua Lipa has been invited to attend the Final World Cup closing ceremony Match. The World Cup final match India against Australia will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.

Four years after leaving India, Dua Lipa will make her comeback with an appearance at the World Cup closing ceremony. The three-time Grammy Award winner made her debut in India in November 2019. Dua Lipa will be joined by some other celebrities from various fields during the closing ceremony.

The revelation broke after the singer engaged in conversation with a few players during an AskDua session prior to the first semi-final between India and New Zealand, even though the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has not yet disclosed its plans for the Sunday.

During a conversation with India’s KL Rahul and Shubman Gill and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell, the Albanian singer-songwriter was asked about his favorite songs.

During the meeting, Gill asked her what song she would like to perform during the opening and closing ceremonies of the World Cup. The songs “Physical” and “One Kiss” were their answers.
